How to buy from Weidian

Weidian is a Chinese marketplace app where thousands of independent sellers list clothing, shoes and accessories. It doesn't ship internationally and needs a Chinese phone number to pay, so buyers outside China use a shopping agent that buys and ships for them.

What you need

• A shopping agent account (we use MyCNBox; KakoBuy, Oopbuy and others work the same way).
• The Weidian item link or item ID (every find on Puro Classico already has it built into the buy buttons).
• A payment method your agent accepts (card or PayPal on most agents).

Step by step

1. Find the item. Browse Puro Classico or paste a Weidian link (it looks like weidian.com/item.html?itemID=…) into your agent's search bar.
2. Pick size and colour. Weidian listings are in Chinese; the agent translates the options. Compare the seller's size chart in centimetres with a garment you own — see our sizing guide.
3. Pay for the item + domestic shipping. You only pay the item price and the short delivery from the seller to the agent's warehouse in China. International shipping is paid later.
4. Wait for the item to reach the warehouse (often a few days). The agent then takes QC photos — real photos of your exact item.
5. Check the QC photos. Look at logos, stitching, colour and the size tag (how to read QC photos). If something's wrong you can usually ask for a return or exchange before it ships.
6. Submit your parcel. Combine everything you've bought into one parcel, choose a shipping line, and pay the estimated international shipping. Many agents refund the difference if the final cost is lower.
7. Track it. Parcels usually leave the warehouse within a day or two and arrive in roughly 1–3 weeks, depending on the line and your country.

What it costs

Your total is: the Weidian item price + domestic shipping to the warehouse (often free or a few dollars) + international shipping (by weight and volume) + any optional services (extra photos, insurance, vacuum packing). The international leg is usually the biggest variable, which is why combining several items into one parcel saves money.

Tips

• Start with one or two items to learn the process.
• Remove shoe boxes and packaging if you don't need them — it cuts the volumetric weight.
• Keep your parcel's declared value and contents accurate; follow your country's import rules.
